International Student Office

The International Student Office is part of Student Administration in Education Services, and based in the Student Services Centre. We provide specialist support to students who come to study at Cambridge from outside the UK, facilitate student mobility opportunities and administer some specific international funding awards.

Prospective and current students from outside the UK should visit our International Students area of the website for guidance on admission, immigration, orientation and studying at Cambridge.

The International Student Office is responsible for:

  • Ensuring the collegiate University is compliant with our Home Office student sponsor licence responsibilities.
  • Providing prospective and current students with student immigration and related advice.
  • Promoting student mobility opportunities, including the administration of the Turing Scheme and supporting year abroad arrangements.
  • Administering the Kurt Hahn Trust and Smuts Memorial Fund.
  • Developing and maintaining the International Students area of the website.
  • Providing pre and post-arrival guidance to students coming to study from outside the UK.
