Below is a summary of paperwork required for students undertaking a placement under Erasmus in 2020/21. Information for students participating in Erasmus in 2021/22 is available under Erasmus information for Cambridge students.

Student Mobility Contract
How: To be accessed via the online link sent to each student by the International Student Office.
Deadline: Print, sign, scan and return your contract to the International Student Office as soon as possible before your placement starts.
Learning Agreement (for study) / Traineeship Agreement (for a traineeship)

- Learning Agreement (PhD)
- PhD students wanting to undertake a traineeship must contact the International Student Office for the relevant document.
How: Download the relevant document from the above list depending on your placement type and subject area.
Deadline: To be completed as soon as possible before your placement begins and returned to your Faculty/Department and then to the International Student Office once signed off.
Certificate of Arrival
How: Download the relevant certificate of arrival from the above options and ask your host institution/organisation to complete it.
Deadline: Return to the International Student Office within 7 days of the start of your placement.
Transcript of Records
How: Your host institution/organisation must complete Section 4 of your Learning/Traineeship agreement. Alternatively for a study placement, they can provide you with a transcript which includes all of the information set out in Section 4 (including placement dates).
Deadline: Return to the International Student Office and Faculty/Department as soon as possible after your placement ends.
Erasmus Report Form
How: This is sent electronically by the British Council.
Deadline: 30 days after your placement has finished.
